This Privacy Policy explains how Aila Radar LLC handles information in Aplomb Etiquette Advisor, an iOS app for etiquette guides, reference cards, event preparation, and AI-assisted etiquette questions.

What data is collected

Aplomb is designed to keep personal app data on your device whenever possible. Depending on how you use the app, the following information may be stored locally on your iPhone or iPad:

• User profile details and etiquette preferences you choose to enter.
• Saved reference cards, event preparation details, and app settings.
• Cached app content, including offline etiquette guides and reference materials.
• Local access protection settings, such as whether Face ID or Touch ID is enabled for the app.

If you use voice input, the app may access the microphone or speech recognition features only when you choose to provide input by voice.

How data is used

Locally stored information is used to provide the app experience, including personalization, saved cards, event prep workflows, offline access, and local app protection. We do not sell user data. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or behavioral advertising systems in Aplomb.

AI processing disclosure

Aplomb includes an AI Advisor feature. AI questions are sent to the Anthropic Claude API only when you ask the AI Advisor a question. Before any AI request is sent, the app shows an AI consent notice.

Your AI question and related context needed to answer it may be transmitted to Anthropic for processing. AI conversation history is not persisted by Aplomb. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal, financial, legal, medical, or confidential information in AI Advisor questions.

Local storage disclosure

User profile and preference data, saved cards, events, and cached app content are stored locally on your device. If you enable Face ID or Touch ID protection, iOS biometric authentication may be used to protect local access to the app. Aplomb does not receive your biometric data.

Subscriptions and payments

Aplomb may offer monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store using StoreKit. Subscription purchases, renewals, cancellations, refunds, payment details, and billing information are handled by Apple. Aila Radar LLC does not receive your full payment card details.

Data deletion

You can delete app data in Aplomb using the in-app data deletion controls. You can also remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device, subject to iOS behavior for app deletion and backups. Subscription cancellation is handled separately through your Apple account settings.

Children

Aplomb is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us at support@ailaradar.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice in the app or on this website.
