These Terms of Use govern your use of Aplomb Etiquette Advisor, an iOS app operated by Aila Radar LLC.

Acceptance of terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Aplomb Etiquette Advisor, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of Aplomb

Aplomb Etiquette Advisor is an AI etiquette advisor for iOS. The app provides offline etiquette guides, reference cards, event preparation features, and an AI Advisor that can answer etiquette-related questions when you choose to use it.

AI advice disclaimer

The AI Advisor provides informational etiquette guidance only. It is not legal, financial, medical, employment, mental health, professional, or safety advice. You are responsible for evaluating guidance before relying on it, especially in sensitive, high-stakes, workplace, legal, cultural, or interpersonal situations.

AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your specific context. Aplomb does not guarantee any social, business, legal, or personal outcome from following app content or AI Advisor responses.

Subscriptions

Aplomb may offer monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account using StoreKit and renew automatically unless canceled according to Apple's rules.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Subscription pricing, renewal timing, billing, cancellation, and refund handling are controlled by Apple and the App Store terms that apply to your account.

Free trials

If a free trial is enabled, the trial terms shown in the app or App Store listing apply. Premium guides may be available during the trial, while AI Advisor questions may be limited to protect service quality and fair use. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, Apple may automatically convert the trial to a paid auto-renewable subscription at the displayed price and renewal period.

User responsibilities

You are responsible for your use of Aplomb, the information you enter, and any decisions you make based on app content or AI Advisor responses. You agree to use the app lawfully and respectfully, and to avoid submitting information that you do not have the right to provide.

No misuse

You may not misuse Aplomb or attempt to interfere with its operation. This includes attempting to reverse engineer the app, bypass subscription controls, abuse AI features, submit unlawful or harmful content, overload systems, or use the app to harass, deceive, discriminate against, or harm others.

Intellectual property

Aplomb, including its app design, text, guides, reference cards, software, branding, and other content, is owned by Aila Radar LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app or its content to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aila Radar LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, reputational harm, or other losses arising from your use of or inability to use Aplomb.

Aplomb is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that etiquette guidance will fit every circumstance.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms as the app changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice in the app or on this website. Your continued use of Aplomb after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
